Last nights 51-45 win over Blue Hills qualified the basketball team for the state tournament for the third year in a row.

The game was a close one throughout and was not decided until the last minute with clutch free throws by Eleni L. ’17, Liz C. ’17 and Luca P. ’17. Eleni and Liz also had 26 and 20 rebounds respectively while Luca added 24 points. Dakota O. ’18 added 19 rebounds and 15 points to the cause. Abby D. ’17 had 4 key assists and played tough hard nosed defense along with Colleen C. ’19. Ava H. ’20, Raheal G. ’20 and Gloria D. ’17 gave valuable minutes in relief due to foul trouble and injury. Without their help the win would not have been possible.

The girls play at Ursuline Wednesday night and are at home Friday against Rockport and Monday for senior night against Brighton.
