COLLEGE COUNSELING
Our College Counseling program mirrors our Guidance program in its commitment to individual attention, encouraging educated choices and one-on-one support. In fact, Mount Alvernia’s guidance program was recently recognized by Boston College’s newspaper, The Heights, for the outstanding quality of its personal attention.
Throughout the application process, we provide our students with numerous resources to enable them to make a decision that they feel is right for them. We offer a Junior Information Night, a Financial Aid Information Night, a Career Day, and a two hour planning session with each student’s family with the Director of Guidance and College Placement.
Our efforts through the years have enabled us to boast an outstanding 100% college acceptance and attendance rate throughout our school’s history.
