PARENTS IN PARTNERSHIP

Parents are the first and ultimately the strongest teachers-it is no accident that research has found a strong correlation between parental involvement and student performance. When parents are seen regularly at school events, school seems more like an extension of home. Mount Alvernia’s Parents in Partnership Program serves to help strengthen this connection. By being a participating partner, you make the most of the opportunity to meet other parents and become active in the life of the school.

Mount Alvernia has been blessed by its parents: their spirit of cooperation and support is legendary. The Parents in Partnership Program enables our parents to share their time and talent with the entire school community. Through hours of work spent on existing volunteer opportunities: the Booster Club, Hospitality and the committees for the Christmas Tree Sale,  the Prom Fashion Show  and the Golf Tournament, they enrich the Mount Alvernia experience.
